Presentation of the Mechanics department
The firm’s mechanics department has a staff of 13 engineers, all of whom have Intellectual Property qualifications and most of whom are European patent attorneys and/or French patent attorneys.
The mechanics department’s engineers provide our customers with advice, assistance and representation with a view to obtaining, upholding, operating and defending their patents in France and internationally. In particular, the department offers renowned expertise in relation to the drafting of patent applications, processing French and international examination proceedings, handling oppositions before the EPO, analysing freedom to operate and infringement cases or handling disputes before national jurisdictions.
Given its engineers’ multiple technical expertise, the department is involved in a wide range of areas related to mechanics, such as aeronautics, motor vehicles, electrical equipment, nuclear energy and the energies of the future, mechanical microsystems, drilling, laboratory equipment, general mechanics, etc.
The department has experienced considerable growth in recent years, stemming from its ability to meet our customers’ requirements in terms of responsiveness and quality.
